FW Murphy has announced the release of the PowerView 750, a fully-modular CAN-based
display that can be customized for specific equipment manufacturer’s needs.
Murphy said the PowerView 750 display integrates electronic engine, transmission and machine information into a large, full VGA LCD flatscreen. However, the PowerView 750 display was designed so that each of the primary components can be isolated and custom engineered to each application.
In addition to the customizable faceplate and bezel, the Powerview 750 display also features configuration software that allows total control over screen design – including logos, menus, instrument layout and machine graphics.
The PowerView 750 display comes equipped with a full operating system (QNX). Standard configuration includes three CAN inputs which support several protocols, including J1939 and NMEA2000. CANopen will also be added in the near future.
The display also features one video input to support a rear view camera, as well as a USB port which can be used for firmware updates and diagnostic data. The MODBUS output allows users to connect to remote communications devices or output information to Murphy PVA gages. The PowerView 750 display can be mounted several ways, including mounted on-dash through use of a gimbal mount or back-mounted for seamless dash integration.
