F.W. Murphy recently announce the Centurion (C4 Series) has been officially released for production. 

The next generation release Centurion (C4) Series , is Murphy's next generation enhanced feature designs for engine and motor driven compressors and pumps.  It features an integrated HMI with a 12-button key pad and a 128x64 pixels LCD display with green backlight, and a multiple I/O core module.

Product Usage & Target Applications:

• The Centurion controller is positioned between the TTD™ Annunciator and the Centurion™ PLUS Controller (Full Featured, Complete custom).  The Centurion control system can provide an array of auto start features (on power-up, switch input, pressure input, etc.), controlled start/stop (from prelube, start, run, loading, cooldown to postlube).  The Configuration software is built around a comprehensive set of control scenarios in the market place today for most motor and engine driven compressors. The Centurion controller can be configured to meet most 3-stage recip applications and can control slide valve, turn valve, or 4-step load control on rotary screw compressors.  Contact Murphy to discover how the Centurion can meet your specific application requirements.
• The Centurion control system can be built and configured to order, additionally with the use of the Centurion Configuration Tool, the controller can be reconfigured by field personnel to meet their exact requirements or modifications.  No programming experience is required, just the basic understanding of application control.
• With the integrated display, the Centurion core module will “sync” with the display for application requirements.  The Centurion Configuration Tool will allow you to configure up to 9 (nine) display screens.  This makes it easy to tailor the interface to operator preference and deploy modifications to a fleet of units.
• The Centurion platform represents several years of technology, proven to deliver economy of scale, efficiency, and flexibility to packagers for both fleet and sold units.  The mix of digital, analog and thermocouple I/O available on the Centurion are a perfect fit for Wellhead and Midstream applications where transitions in technology are still present or planned.
• With the recent changes highlighted below, the Centurion addresses market needs for simple, affordable controls with scalability from annunciators systems to advanced system controls.
