I’m happy to announce the 2020 Service Center of the Year is the Los Angeles Service Center! At the end of every year, a service center is recognized for its overall contribution to the service department and Palmer Johnson Power Systems as a whole and named "Service Center of the Year." In 2020 the competition was no different as we continued to focus on our creed to “Make it Happen” for our people and customers.
Making it Happen
Like most businesses in 2020, Los Angeles worked through quite a few obstacles- California shutdowns, new protocols for essential businesses, and leadership changes. With grace and confidence, the crew handled challenge after challenge, making quite a few improvements along the way. They gained some new customers, calibrated the shop, streamlined the fieldwork process, and capitalized on rental equipment repairs.
Overall the operation efficiency and a continued focus on shop management was the most significant area of improvement for Los Angeles. Safety has always been a top focus for all of our shops, but 2020 really amplified our drive to stay safe. I am truly amazed to see our people consistently drive to keep one another safe while new opportunities and challenges come our way.
