PJ Service Center Update

Over the last decade, Palmer Johnson has taken an aggressive, customer-first approach, investing heavily in our Service Departments nation-wide. Our goal was to excel for our customers in every local market. We strived for best-in-class 24/7 service, fast turnarounds and excellent quality.

Recently, we took a look at our overall Service strategy and determined that we should only offer service in locations where we could consistently exceed our customers’ expectations while providing the best possible service and value for them. Meaning if we were not able to provide best-in-class 24/7 service, all the time, then we would be better off closing the facility and offering our customers best-in-class service through one of our other nearby service centers. With this strategy, Palmer Johnson can reallocate resources into strategic locations, making them bigger, better and more dominant for our customers.

With this in mind, on February 1st, 2016 Palmer Johnson Power Systems will be consolidating Service locations which will mean closing down our Service Store fronts in these four locations:

  • Hayward, CA
  • Addison, IL
  • White Bear Lake, MN
  • Oklahoma City, OK

Ultimately, this is a strategic move that allows us to specialize in our 6 remaining locations, offering component rebuilding and flexible facilities with room for growth. These six locations include:

  • Sun Prairie, WI
  • Fenton, MO
  • Lenexa, KS
  • Arlington, TX
  • Santa Fe Springs, CA
  • Kent, WA
