They are designed to withstand harsh environments such as underground coal mines and Oil & Gas installations. Austart Air Starters conform to the most stringent safety standards, including ATEX certification. Many options suit engines from 1 liter to 400 liter displacement. These include pre-engaged or inertia style drive systems, enclosed nose cones or overhung pinion arrangements, and Steel or Beryllium Copper Bronze (BCB) pinion options. Austart Vane Starters are available in Z and U-shaped configurations for those demanding applications where space is a significant concern.
